It is with great pleasure that the Goucher College Quindecim submits our rate card for the 2007-2008 academic year. Our newspaper serves over 1600 students, faculty, and staff at Goucher College. Located in the heart of Towson, Maryland and only minutes from businesses in downtown Baltimore and around the beltway, Goucher College is a diverse community whose members have the potential to be important and loyal patrons to your business’s array of products and services.
Below is our list of advertising prices and policies, our publication schedule, and our contact information. We have modified our rate schedule for this year based on pricing per column inch to provide our advertisers with greater flexibility.

Discounts & Additional Charges:
Advertisements placed in more than one issue will be discounted at the rate of:

Pre-paid ads will receive an additional 10% discount. Pre-paid ads for which copy is not received by the deadline will be refunded with a service charge of 15%.
Goucher College, its employees, organizations, and students receive a 10% discount. This discount may not be combined with the discount for pre-paying, but may be combined with the discount for multi-issue placement.
All ads (except classifieds) must be press-eady. Ads that require typesetting, reduction, enlargement, alteration, or additional artwork will be charged an additional 5-10%.

Placement Information:
Space must be reserved and copy received by 5:00 PM on day of deadline. Please do not attempt to deliver artwork directly to our office without calling ahead to make arrangements.
Sending artwork and advertising information electronically is preferred. Please send artwork as a JPG, TIF, BMP or PDF file.
Space and placement is on a first-come, first-served basis, unless the Quindecim is otherwise contractually obligated.
Placement is at the discretion of the Quindecim Editorial Board, who reserves the rights to change page placement, alter ad sizes to meet our column inch requirements, and to cancel reserved ads.
Proof of publication and/or billing information will be sent within 7 days of publication, if requested. If payments are not made within 30 days, an additional $35 late fee will be charged for every 60 days overdue, up to $140.
